Recalculate your automobile loan with different interest rates and finance terms using our simple Windows finance calculator software. The Finance Calculator helps to approximate a loan. The calculator basis its calculations on monthly terms. It can provide you with a monthly amortization payment schedule which includes loan payment amounts, breakdown on principle and interest, as well as a loan payoff amount at each payment. The finance calculator looks similar to this;
In the first half of the form it calculates the amount to be financed. The second half determines the payment amounts based on the interest and duration of the loan. To begin type in the Amount Of Vehicle you wish to amortize. Next enter the Sales Tax rate for the transaction. When you click on the Sales Tax box a pop-up will be displayed asking for the tax rate in percent value.
If there is no tax enter 0 (zero) and no tax will be calculated. Enter values for Title, Transfer, Etc..., Trade In Allowance, and Down Payment. Again if these do not apply then enter 0 (zero) for each that does not apply. In the second half of the form enter values for Payments and Interest Rate. The payments are in months, so a three year loan you would enter 36. The interest is in APR or Annual Percentage Rate. For 5 1/2 percent APR you would enter 5.5 for the value. When the form is completely filled out press the Calculate button. Your loan will be calculated showing the monthly payment amount, total interest, and total loan including interest. To print the completed form press Print then Print from the main menu bar or simply use the shortcut Ctrl+P. The first time you print select Printer Setup to make sure the proper printer and setup will be used. To show the complete loan amortization press the Amortize Button or from the menu Tools then Amortize.
The program will open a new NotePad file showing the complete breakdown of the loan. If you wish to save the amortization press File then Save from within NotePad and save it to your computer with a name relevant to the loan. You may print the amortization from NotePad as well.
